As the search for the Vice President, Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer (CIDO) gets underway, we write to request your input. Our collective commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging means that the CIDO will have the needed support and resources to build a team that will develop strategies and create programs and initiatives that will serve all members of our community.
The CIDO Search Committee is hosting a series of Listening Sessions during which we hope you will share your opinions about:
- expectations for the role
- priority issues
- staffing and support the CIDO will need to be successful
We invite you to click on one of the four Listening Sessions below to register. Registration will remain open throughout each session in case your schedule opens last minute.
- Friday, July 31 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- Monday, August 3 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday, August 4 7:00 am – 8:00 am
- Wednesday, August 5 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

As previously announced, the search is open to USC personnel. We will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis until our CIDO is selected.
