Community Healers

Community Healers (CH) are a USC Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID) resource comprised of a cohort of facilitators who have all undergone an intensive training process in Restorative Practices with ongoing support and mentorship.

Restorative Practices are based on principles that emphasize positive relationships as central to building and maintaining community and involve processes that restore relationships when harm has occurred.
Restorative Practices utilize Restorative Conferencing to repair relationships when conflict has occurred and Community Building Circles to build a sense of connection.

Based on requests, referrals, and a screening process managed by OID, our CH can facilitate Restorative Practices, including many circle processes for different USC community members.
