Moira Turner, a junior majoring in anthropology, is director of diversity affairs in the Undergraduate Student Government. A 2014-15 McNair Scholar, her research explores “What It Means to be a Father: White Benevolence and the Battle for Inheritance in the 19th Century.” Passionate about equity and social justice, Turner has worked on such advocacy projects as the USC Awujo House and the Campus Climate Resolution. She is a graduate of the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts magnet high school.
